We have a purpose
SonLight Daily Devotional Daily Devotional for March 24

Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."

To love the Lord thy God with all our heart is our purpose. To pray for the lost is our purpose that fulfills His purpose. To love our wives is our purpose that fulfills His purpose. To be filled with the Holy Spirit is our purpose that His purpose will be done. We have a purpose here on the planet earth. Not just to take up time and space. A purpose to fulfill the Lord's perfect will. We are more than conquerors because we know that all things work together; bad or good, sad or glad, rich or poor. The Lord is working out His purpose in our lifetime.

The purpose we have sharing the gospel is much different from the world's purpose. We purpose to love unconditionally all that enter into church. To share the grace of God. The mercy of God. The peace of God. The forgiveness of sins. To teach what this book says about mankind. We purpose not to change this book, because sin has not changed.

The way to heaven has not changed. Mankind tries to say that there are many roads that lead to heaven; this is not true. John 14:6 says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me".

Matthew 7:14 "Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."

The way is asking Christ Jesus to be your personal Saviour and to forgive you of your sins. Our purpose is to share the love, and life of Christ Jesus our Lord.
