Praise the Lord
Daily Devotional for March 30

Psalm 34:1 "I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth."

Psalm 35:28 "And my tongue shall speak of Thy righteousness and of Thy praise all the day long."

The Lord has intended for mankind to be happy, but something has happened. Sin has entered in, causing the fall of mankind. Since the fall of mankind, Adam and Eve raised their first son Cain to be a murderer. Eve was the first mother to experience that kind of pain. This kind of pain is still being passed down from generation to generation. Sin is satan's independent nature. All that is evil and wicked. It is no wonder that many a mom and dad do not have any happiness or joy.

We do not have any trouble in the springtime making the birds sing; but we have lots of trouble trying to get mankind to sing first thing in the morning. Mankind's last thought is on praising the Lord in the morning. They are thinking about how late they are going to be for work this morning. They rush around and around. By the time they get to work their temper is on edge. Praise is the last thing mankind thinks of.

Praise is the first thing a born again Christian will be doing. Praising God for another day of His mercy that is a fresh as the dew that is upon the ground each morning. Praising God for his or her health. Praising God for his or her loved ones. Praising God will start as soon as we rise, and last until we rest our head upon our pillow, and say, "Thank you Lord for this perfect day". Praise the Lord. Amen.
