Daily Devotional for March 31

John 3:3 "Jesus answered and said unto him (Nicodemus), Verily, verily, (truly, truly,) I say unto you, Except a man be born again (from above), he cannot see the kingdom of God."

John 3:7 "Marvel not that I said unto thee, you must be born again (from above)."

The greatest event in one's life is the moment he or she asks the Lord Jesus Christ to come into their heart to be their personal Lord and Saviour.

Our dead spirit is now touched by the Holy Spirit making us alive spiritually. Sixty eight things happen to us the moment we believe in Christ Jesus. Great joy is one of the sixty eight things that has happened. Joy because we know we are forgiven of all of our sins. Joy is given at once, and should last for eternity. There is joy in heaven when one repents for their sins.

A great lady in Christ once said, "Keep it kiss" (keep it simple, stupid). Personally I have always tried to keep it simple, because words are not sufficient to describe the wonderful experience of truly being born again. The happiness and peace the second you ask Christ Jesus to come into your heart is overwhelming.

The natural man or woman can not understand this simple act of asking Christ Jesus to be our personal Saviour. The natural man may even say they are a Christian, but they have no love for this precious book the Bible.

2 Corinthians 13:5 "Examine yourselves, whether you be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know you not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except you be reprobates?"
