What is good and hopeful?
Pastor's Thoughts for March 2001

What good is it if your Bible is unread;
What good is it if you live a prayerless life;
What good is it if you are living a life of unbelief?

There is no hope for those that walk in darkness;
There is no hope for those that live in disobedience;
There is no hope for those who refuse to repent.

What peace does the sin sick sinner have?
What peace does the pretender have?
What peace does the liar attain?

Why do tears run down your cheeks?
Why does your happiness soon disappear?
Why does your fame seem so empty?

There are answers to all your questions;
There are days of beauty just ahead;
There are joys that lie around the corner.

You must be born again
Seek ye first the kingdom of God
Let not your heart be troubled
Abide in Me, and I in you

Know there is peace that passes all understanding,
Love that is all consuming,
Hope that is eternal,
Life there is abundant.

Keep looking unto Jesus for He is the truth.
Saved and serving our Lord and Saviour all day long!
That is what is good and hopeful.
