Pastor's Thoughts for March 2004

The young man and woman says, "Let us alone, for we are sowing our wild oats. Our lives are full of these times of pleasures. When we are older we will consider God and His life style".

The drug addict and drunkard says as he or she sees double, "The lights are on, and I will go home to rest. Later we will think on this matter, another time, whether God is real or not. For now, I am busy serving my idol of pleasure".

The educated says, "Arts and science and music have my attention as of now. I have much time to explore the spiritual at my leisure time later on".

The rich man says, "Don't you see I am busy building for the future? My thoughts and plans take me into the year 2050 - maybe then I may have time to think about Godly things".

The wise man knows quite well that life is wearing away. The foolish always thinks there is plenty of time. You hear these words, Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, the lid of the coffin is closed, the grave is dug. The untimely death has run out of time, the fires of hell have won these lost souls Their belief was in they had much time.

The word of God says, "Now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation" 2 Corinthians 6:2b

Too many tomorrows may never come;
Too many yesterdays have already gone.

Today is the day of your salvation.

Too many choose, saying plenty of time;
Too many laugh and joke, saying hell is not real,
Today too many have enlarged the fires of hell.

Today is truly the day of your salvation.

Make way for Christ Jesus into your heart today.
