Jesus loves you
Daily Devotional for May 7

John 13:34-35 "A new commandment I give unto you, That you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another."

Christ Jesus would like us Christians to love with the same fullness of love that He has shown. Love that will be kind always at all times. Love that will go the extra mile to help others that need and want help. The word Christian means to be Christ like in every way; extending grace to all in need, extending mercy to all we meet, forgiving as Christ Jesus forgave us. Comfort the sick, and love the sinner where he may be at.

Christian, do you keep a personal relationship with our Saviour? Do you say out loud that Jesus loves me, Jesus loves me: over and over again until the Holy Spirit brings alive to your being what you are saying. Jesus loves me. Keep it personal and you will have no problem in living the Christian life. Romans 5:5 says, "And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit which is given unto us".

Proverbs 4:23 "Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life."

If you get discouraged, remember to guard your heart with these simple words; Jesus loves me, and gave His life for me. Keep it personal! Keep it fresh! Keep it new every morning! For truly Jesus does love you.

Keep it simple. Jesus loves you.
