John 3:7 "Marvel not that I said unto thee, You must be born again."

The word "must" has the meaning of "It is necessary that you are born again". God made mankind with a body, soul and spirit; but after the fall of man in Genesis 3:6, mankind's spirit became dead in trespasses and sin. They were for the first time separated from their loving God, by the act of disobedience when listening to satan. After eating of the tree of good and evil mankind became aware of sin through their conscience.

Mankind now lives at the tree of good and evil, which produces spiritual death every day of their lives. For many years after the fall of mankind, the shedding of the blood of animals sanctified mankind so that he went to heaven. The lamb was the sacrifice for a sin offering.

Christ Jesus came to die upon the cross for the sins of mankind. He was the sacrificial Lamb of God. He paid for the sins of the whole world. He rose from the grave to put His blood upon the mercy seat in heaven, paying the price for sin. His Father's justice was satisfied. Now mankind has a remedy for the sin issue.

The second one asks Christ Jesus to be their personal Saviour they are complete in Him. They are now sitting in heavenly places in communion with Him. They are living in the Finished Work of Calvary. They are growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

If you are not born again you know it! If you are backslidden you know it! If you are carnal or Laodician you know it!

Come to Jesus and find rest for your soul,
Come to Jesus and He will make you whole.
