Psalm 37:24 "Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with His hand."

Proverbs 24:16 "For a just man falleth seven times; and riseth up again: but the wicked fall into mischief."

Psalm 145:14 "The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down."

Christians, the Lord is able to help us when we fall, because of His grace and mercy towards us. His love is so great toward us that it has moved mountains of sin in our lives. We can have security in the fact that as He draws us with lovingkindness, we will be able to give lovingkindness to others in their time of need.

We all should be very excited about His promises of not letting us fall, but when we fall, we fall into His everlasting arms of grace. What a loving, kind God of heaven and earth we have as a friend, a father; a helper in time of need. We may fall from time to time, but we always have Someone that will pick us up before we hit the ground.

We have a personal Saviour that we can tell all our troubles to. He will listen with the intent to do something about what He hears. Hebrews 7:25b says, "He ever liveth to make intercession for them". He is right there praying to the Father saying, "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do" in Luke 23:34. The Father responds to His Son's love towards His children and reaches down to pick us up when we fall.

Anger is an example of falling. What purpose does it have? None in the Kingdom of God. Anger makes the Christian to fall because it's purpose is not of the Kingdom of God. Christ Jesus is praying to the Father, "Forgive them", so the Father is able to keep them from falling.

What a Saviour we truly have.
