Come to the Source
Daily Devotional for
November 2

John 7:37-38 "In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto Me, and drink. He that believeth on Me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water."
Do you think rivers of living waters are flowing out of you when you are continually worried about other matters?
Do you find yourself doubting and asking questions, "Why does God use others and not me?"
Christ Jesus said, All that come to Me shall have rivers of living waters flowing out of them. He did not say maybe, or sometimes, but continually rivers of living waters will flow out of us.
If you feel distant from the Lord it may be you have stopped coming to the Source. Somehow, something has gotten in the way of the Source; examine yourself, have you stopped coming as a little child with great expectations?
If you have no joy, satan is robbing you of the abundant life which has been promised to you by Christ Jesus. Please don't stop coming to the Source, Christ Jesus.
John 10:10 "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."
