Ephesians 4:11 "And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers"

Ephesians 4:12 "For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ"

The pastor teacher is to equip the saints in spiritual warfare against the devil.
Ephesians 6:12 "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

The pastor teacher is to teach the value of the grace of God.
1 Peter 5:10 "But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that you have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you."

The pastor teacher shows the body of Christ the importance of the finished work.
John 19:30 "When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, He said, It is finished: and He bowed his head, and gave up the ghost."

The pastor teacher conveys to the flock that man should live by every word of God.
Matthew 4:4 "But He answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God."

The pastor teacher believes the word of God to be true in it's entirety. Anything else is a false pastor teacher sending the flock he has to hell. Yes, the pastor teacher tells his flock about heaven and hell. Heaven is real; so is hell. There is only one road that leads to heaven.
John 14:6 "Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by Me."

Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

The pastor teacher shares the importance of soul winning. The importance of one soul. Jesus left the ninety nine and went after the one that was lost.
Luke 15:4-7 "What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbors, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.
I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance."
