Colossians 3:14 "And above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfectness."

Good morning, Jesus loves you.

If we do not have abundant love, it's because we think too much of ourselves. We spend too much time thinking in the negative realm. Our walk is by sight and not faith. Our meditation is on the troubles of this world. We are too busy making plans for the weekend, leaving out all thoughts about our Lord.

Too many people will call themselves Christians and never meditate on the Lord Jesus Christ. They will go to church when they feel like it, while week after week they rob God Almighty of tithes and offerings Malachi 3:8. They will not love the Lord with all their hearts, because they live in a world of distractions. Something else is always taking preeminence in their little lives.

Yes! They always overlook the love God that has for them. They make themselves as busy as possible, hidden in a job for sixty to seventy hours a week. After a hard days work comes "happy hour" at the bar. That whole day has been spent without one thought of Christ Jesus' love.

If the thought should come to them, "How about church tonight!", it is brushed aside by another drink. I have to go home to the family that I am teaching very well to ignore all that is Godly.

Sad to say this scenario is happening much too many times in this country each day.

Time out please!

Turn to Jesus, for He truly does love you this very day.
