Daily Devotional for November 10

Proverbs 3:5 "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding."

How many marriages have been broken up because of no trust? Without trust in a marriage, all you have left is doubt. When doubt becomes dominant, the marriage ends up upon the rocks of despair.

You start leaning on your own understanding, because doubt is leading you to think all kinds of negative thoughts. Weeks and weeks go by; doubt is being added to doubt, and in return all trust is destroyed. Hate has now replaced trust, because hate has no responsibility other than to get even with the other person.

Question: who has put the thoughts of doubt with in your mind? None other than satan himself is the answer.

Trust in the LORD. Stop thinking yourself into the depths of despair. Trust Him for your situation. He knows the end of all things.

Psalm 34:4 "I sought the LORD, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears."

Trust has no fear.

Trust has no doubt.

Trust has safety and security.

We can trust the word of God totally from beginning to end.

Marriages that have trust have life, love, happiness and contentment. The born-again Christian that trusts in the LORD has the abundant life as they are blessed all the days of their life.
