Are you Afraid?
Daily Devotional for

Genesis 3:10 "And he said, I heard Thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself."
Adam's sin caused him to be afraid of God. Adam and Eve went out of perfect love in God into human love; with it's self centered ideas.
Divine love is infinite. It has no boundaries or limitations, because this is God's true essence.
Human love is finite. Finite love is subject to human or natural limitations, because this is natural man's true essence.
The unsaved, whether good or bad, can not have divine love living within their soul and spirit, because the Holy Spirit does not abide in them until they have asked Christ Jesus to be their personal Lord and Saviour.
The unsaved are totally living in finite love, having to have situations "just right", so they can love. If the situation changes, so do they. This is how you can tell someone is living in finite love.
God's love never changes. It only grows, creating a capacity for us to live in perfect love which casts out all fear.
1 John 4:18 "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love."
Divine love will not think evil at any time.
1 Corinthians 13:5 "(Love) doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil"
