Daily Devotional for November 15

Psalm 34:17 "The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles."

Psalm 34:6 "This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles."

Mankind looks to mankind to deliver them out of troubles. It is a good thing to help others. We all should be helpers of one another when troubles come.

The trouble with mankind is, they leave the Creator out of their programs; so they only deliver temporary solutions to the troubles at hand.

Mankind has troubles starting with sin: satan's independent nature. Mankind wants to say, "We can help you", but in reality they only cover up the issues of sin with the fig leaves of human resources.

Mankind does not want to admit to their own sinful nature, because they would have to admit they fall short of solving the world's troubles.

God Almighty can and will deliver His people out of troubles. We did not say Christians do not have troubles; for it rains on the just and the unjust at the same time. The Christian has the God of heaven and earth who listens when they pray.

Are you in a difficult position? Cast your troubles to Christ Jesus.

1 Peter 5:7 "Casting all you care upon Him; for He careth for you."

Christ Jesus will send help in the time of trouble. You can count on that.
