Do you ask?
Daily Devotional for November 20

James 4:1-3 "From whence come wars and fightings among you? Come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? You lust, and have not: you kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: you fight and war, yet you have not, because you ask not. You ask, and receive not, because you ask amiss, that you may consume it upon your lusts."

The average person in America does not pray three minutes a day. They have little to no communication with God Almighty. They live in a spirit of lust, lusting for more and more. They are not satisfied with what they have, because they think temporal things are most important. There is always an internal fight going on each day of their lives between them and God.

They get so caught up in the world system that they have no time for God Almighty. Their plans are pleasure centered as they teach their own children to be godless. The movies, the television, and the computer are just loaded with lust and perversion; causing the young people to have a warped sense of love and passion.

The Bible will teach us how to love, and to be satisfied with our lives; but few ever read the Bible from cover to cover.

Have you ever read the Bible from cover to cover? You will find the Bible to be the greatest book in the world when it is read in the Holy Spirit.

If you are unsaved and try to read the bible, you will find out nothing; but if you would like to be saved and born-again right now, ask Christ Jesus into your heart; to forgive you of your sins and to be filled with the love that is in the Holy Spirit.

The Bible will become the living word to you.
