There is hope
Daily Devotional for October 9

2 Chronicles 7:14 "If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

This beautiful Bible verse is quoted many times by many people even this very day. Church after Church could be praying for our land as it drifts steadily away from what it was founded upon: God Almighty.

Thank God for each Church that is praying for our country.

Thank God for each person that is kneeling down before God, praying in the Spirit for this nation.

Thank God for each pastor-teacher that prays for this land.

We all have the greatest opportunity in history to be praying for our nation. We need not to be of those that breath out gloom and doom, but to be in prayer, so our Heavenly Father can move upon this land and bring a God given revival to it.

Christians, let's be a people filled with optimism, knowing the hand of God is upon us. He is working out His perfect plan, even as I write this daily devotional, in His name in our lives.

We serve a loving God that is full of grace and mercy. His heart is tender towards us, for He knows just how fragile we all are.

Keep praying in the Spirit, for we never know what God may do for our nation.
