Daily Devotional for
October 10
All born-again, bible believing Holy Spirit filled Christians will receive crowns in heaven.
The incorruptible crown for staying in
the race, for finishing the course set for them, for serving God with all their
heart, soul and spirit.
1 Corinthians 9:25 "And every man that striveth for the mastery is
temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown but we an
incorruptible."
The crown
of rejoicing is called the soul winner's crown: passing out biblical
tracts, sharing Christ Jesus one on one, knocking at someone's door for the
purpose of sharing Christ Jesus with them.

1 Thessalonians 2:19 "For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of
rejoicing? Are not even you in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His
coming?"
The
crown of righteousness. This crown will be given to all of us who love
Christ Jesus appearing. This is the second coming of Christ Jesus.

2 Timothy 4:8 "Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of
righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day:
and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing."
The crown of
life is the crown for all that overcome temptations and trials.

Peter 1:7, James 1:2 They did not quit during a
trial, but went through it in Christ Jesus learning to trust Him more. Grace is
sufficient in any trial.
2 Corinthians 12:9
James 1:12 "Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is
tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them
that love Him."
The Crown of glory is a special reward
for the faithful pastor-teacher who has been called by God to complete his work
in a special area. The congregation can share in the crown of glory by being
faithful to the local church, by praying daily for the pastor-teacher, giving
your tithes and offerings joyfully, giving your time freely, by encouraging the
pastor-teacher, by being committed to the local pastor-teacher; by having ears
to hear the word of God.
1 Peter 5:4 "And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive
a crown of glory that fadeth not away."
