He knows His own
Daily Devotional for October 15

2 Timothy 2:19 "Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, the Lord knoweth them that are His. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity."

The Lamb's book of life. Are you written in this book? Does that page with your name on it say "Thou good and faithful servant", or is this page blank?

If you are one that says you are a Christian and acts like a heathen, your name is not written in the Lamb's book of life. Grace is the motivation behind all Christians, which leads them into the unconditional love of God.

God Almighty is working in a Christian's life one day at a time. He is filling each born-again blood-bought Christian with the bread of life. God will always feed His hungry sheep.

The devil on the other hand is feeding his own with lies. Lies that God doesn't care. Lies that you are better off before you got religion. Lies that booze, drugs and sex are the way to be happy. Satan is after every teenager to whisper in their ears, "Don't be old fashioned". "It's the 90's". "Live it up".

God knows His own and is calling them to come out of the world of destruction into the light of life, Christ Jesus.

If you have a teenager, pray, and even fast for them, because the devil is after them for one purpose. That is to destroy them. Pray, pray.
