John 7:37-38 "In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto Me, and drink. He that believeth on Me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water."
The whole world is thirsting for something, but not many are coming unto Jesus for the drink of living water. The world drinks the lust for power, fame, and fortune.
The athlete eats and drinks many hours a day the sport that he or she loves. If you want to be good at something, you have to take the time to practice.
At a job you have to take the time to learn the contents of the job, or you will not last. When you go on a vacation, you will take the time to plot your course and count the cost.
Christian, how much time do you take in prayer?
Christian, how much time are you spending reading the holy word of God?
Christian, how much time do you spend sharing your love with your spouse? Always remember, twelve kisses and hugs a day are needed for your wife so that she knows that you love her.
How many times a day do you praise the Lord? It should be at least seven times.
Psalm 119:164 "Seven times a day do I praise Thee because of Thy righteous judgments."
Make time to come to Jesus, and you will find rest for your soul.
