God gives
Daily Devotional for October 19

Luke 11:13 "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him?"

God Almighty gave us His Son to die upon the cross for the sins of the whole world. God Almighty gave us His Holy Spirit to protect us against the wiles of the devil.

Please don't hurt the heart of God by your heart of disbelief. Please don't hurt the heart of God by your unkind words. Please don't hurt the heart of God by your lusting after the opposite sex.

Do you get the picture just how easy you can hurt the heart of God? Christ Jesus has said, be careful of what you hear, be careful of how you look, and be careful with the words you use.

The fruit of the Holy Spirit is love, joy, peace Galatians 5:22. We need to respond to the leading of the Holy Spirit, for the Holy Spirit is leading us into all truth.

John 14:16-17 "And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you forever; even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him: but you know Him; For He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you."

Please don't hurt the One that wants to comfort you.
