Broken
Daily Devotional for October 20

Philippians 3:10 "That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death"

Romans 6:6a "Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with Him"

Sweetness, kindness, gentleness all come from a vessel that has been broken by the love of God. When the love of God breaks the vessel for His use, you will not find one moment in that vessel's life that they think of murmuring against the perfect plan of God.

The broken vessel is in harmony with the resurrection power that lives within Christ Jesus; as it now lives within the broken vessel moving and having His being. The broken vessel receives the power of life, which in return is poured out upon others that have needs.

The broken vessel is not thinking of itself but has a heart for the brokenhearted.

The broken vessel is always looking for ways to repair the breach in broken relationships. The broken vessel's whole life is Christ Jesus. This vessel lives to please God in all that it does, all that it thinks, all that it may suffer.

This life does not exist in an unbroken vessel, because there has been no death at Calvary.

Let the love of God break you so that you may also be a vessel for the Master's use.
