Are you Happy?
Daily Devotional for September 3

Nehemiah 8:10b "for the joy of the LORD is your strength."

Galatians 5:22 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith"

Joy is one of the outward expressions of the working of the Holy Spirit in a believer's life. Joy is a promise from our Lord Christ Jesus.

John 15:11 "These things have I spoken unto you, that My joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full."

Examine yourselves, Christians. Are you bubbling over with joy, or has there been a decrease in the level of joy? Matthew 7:1 says, "Judge not". The second you start to judge is the second joy flies away as a bird that has been spotted by the hunter. Look around Christians, is there joy in your life or are you heavy laden with the details of life?

Matthew 11:29 "Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest unto your souls."

Get yoked up with Jesus, for He is your strength. The stronger is yoked up with the weaker to make a strong team. This is why Jesus said that His joy should remain in you. He knows that He has to supply a daily vitamin of joy to us each day, because the devil loves to try to steal the vitamins of joy from the believer.

Rise and shine and give God the glory, children of the Lord. Enter into the joy of the Lord each morning. It's a happy happy day, since Jesus came my way. He saved my soul and made me whole, it's a happy happy day!!
