Prayer is Important
Daily Devotional for

James 5:15 "And the prayer of faith shall heal the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he hath committed sins, they shall be forgiven him."
The sweetest thing to do each morning is to start our day in prayer. Asking God for His wisdom; for no one knows what a day may bring. Asking God for His will to be done, and to be lead by the Holy Spirit in all truth. Asking God to heal sick loved ones, knowing He hears our prayers. Asking God for our daily bread, for we have no spiritual food left over from yesterday.
The pre-salvation, so-called Christians will be too busy to have fellowship with God Almighty in the morning. Their excuse is that they will be late for work. Their minds are not thinking on the things of God, but are stayed on things of this world; what movie they want to see, or what place they would like to eat after work.
The pre-salvation crowd thinks and acts just like the world all week. Then they show up to Church like they are doing God Almighty a favor. If prayer means so little to you, you had better examine your heart to see if you are in the faith.
A saint will pray, but an aint will not. So the question is, are you a saint or an aint? 2 Corinthians 13:5
Ask Jesus Christ into your heart to be your personal Saviour. Become a saint, and learn the power of prayer.
Bible References (KJV)
2 Corinthians 13:5 "Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except you be reprobates"
