According to your Faith
Daily Devotional for September 9

Matthew 9:29b "According to your faith be it unto you."

It's amazing how many people live their lives according to their wants and needs, but not in the faith of our Lord Christ Jesus. They go about their whole lives eating and drinking, never once giving God the glory due unto Him.

They walk about in total darkness, dead in their own sins; not looking unto the Author and Finisher of our faith.
Hebrews 12:2 "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."

They live in their own understanding, in which they glorify their thinking above faith in God. They teach their children to live without faith in God. This alone is a wicked sin: to leave God Almighty out of a child's life.
Hebrews 11:6 "But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him."

The unbeliever has faith in mankind, thinking things will be getting better without God. Look around, unbelievers. Are the prisons empty because they have gotten more education? The answer is no. The prisons are full, because mankind places their faith in themselves; not in the living God.

If you live without faith in Christ Jesus, you will live for eternity without hope. The fact of the matter is, you will live in eternity alone in hell.
Revelation 20:15 "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."
