1 Corinthians 14:34-35 (Amplified Bible) "The women should keep quiet in the churches, for they are not authorized to speak, but should take a secondary and subordinate place, just as the law also says in Genesis 3:16. But if there is anything they want to learn they should ask their own husbands at home, for it is disgraceful for a woman to talk in Church (for her to usurp and exercise authority over men in the Church)."

The Christian woman of today that doesn't know biblical doctrine may say something like this, "That amplified Bible must have been written by a male chauvinist". The truth of the matter is that a woman was behind the idea of the Amplified Bible, and she was helped by many others.

We have what you call a "rap" after Church service, open to questions from all that attend Church. We teach the whole counsel of God from Genesis to Revelation. We believe the Christian should live by every word of God.
Matthew 4:4 (Amplified Bible) "But He replied, It has been written, Man shall not live and be upheld and sustained by bread alone, but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God."
2 Timothy 3:16 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness"

The question today is, are women teachable according to what the Bible says? We believe they are teachable when living in a humble and quiet spirit.
Psalm 25:9 "The meek will He guide in judgment: and the meek will He teach His way."

1 Timothy 2:11-12 "Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence."
We are not to change God's order for our modern day, humanistic society. We are to live by what God has written, not by what mankind wants to change.
