How important is your
Marriage?
Daily Devotional for

Ephesians 5:25,28 "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the Church, and gave Himself for it. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself."
Time and self is a big stealer of love for one another. It erodes the oneness, only to leave a gulf between love that is replaced with discontentment. Discontentment leads one to seek after other spirits of the world system. This only brings trouble, for satan has plenty of like spirits of discontentment working in the lives of married people.
Discontentment, when left unchecked, will lead to a ruined marriage. The guilty party will live in a state of unfulfillment, looking for ways to justify their actions. Their tongue is the weapon that they use to hurt the other party. They issue out their discontentment, destroying the other's capacity to love.
1 Corinthians 13:8a "Love never
faileth."
Love will be a servant, not getting tired or discontented, but will be
thanking God for the God given gift of their partner. Love as it serves grows
stronger, for it's strength is sent from above.
Marriage is a precious gift from God, meant to bring continuous joy into the lives of the partners. Marriage, when in Christ Jesus, will only get better and better as the couple grows in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus.
