Proverbs 6:19 "A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren."

The Christian's home is where the battle zone is. This is where satan gets in and causes all sorts of trouble. Every time a wife sows discord the husband has to hear it, and the children have to hear it. Every time a husband sows discord in the home the wife has to hear it, and the children have to hear it.

This is why many Christian children end up on the rocks of despair, because one of the parents have sowed discord against godly people. Somehow the one that is sowing discord has no thought about how they may be destroying the children's capacity to grow in the grace of God.

Discord is a habitual thing, and it's aim is to destroy the character of the one they are talking against negatively. So over a period of time the children hear it (that is, they hear discord) and they end up taking on the same destructive spirit that their mom or dad has. This causes them to judge wrongly anything that is said by the person that the negative discord has been said against in the past.

God hates discord, but far to many times the Christian home is filled with it; causing the ruin of the children, and the parent that has that evil spirit.

One negative word sows discord against another's character. Repent at once.
1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
