Daily Devotional for September 16

1 Corinthians 2:9 "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him."

Christ Jesus said in John 14:3, "And I go and prepare a place for you". Christ Jesus died and rose again so that all of us that believe in Him have a home prepared for us in heaven.
Revelation 21:2 "And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband."

We are the bride of Christ Jesus, and there is a new city prepared for us. Wonderful. Beautiful. Peaceful.

We also have a supper prepared for us by the Lamb of God. What a supper that is going to be! There will not be one glass of water knocked over at that supper.
Revelation 19:9 "And He saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And He saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God."

Here on earth God Almighty has prepared over five thousand promises for all that believe in Christ Jesus as their personal Saviour.

When Christ Jesus rose from the dead He prepared eternal security for all that believe.
John 10:28 "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any pluck them out of my hand."
