Are you prideful?
Daily Devotional for September 25

1 Peter 5:5-6 "Likewise, you younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yes, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble."

God Almighty is against all forms of pride. Pride has a complex of satan's thinking behind it:
"I will not believe"
"I will not go to Church and listen to a bunch of hypocrites"
"The Bible was just written by a bunch of men"
"Weak people need religion"
This kind of thinking is spoken by the father of all lies: the devil. John 8:44

The prideful person will always have excuses why they do not believe, but when it comes to lusting after the opposite sex they have no trouble in believing that they are in love. The prideful person is controlled by their feelings and emotions, leading their libido waves to live in the lust of the flesh, drugs, booze and sex.

God is at war with the prideful person until they either come to Christ Jesus and repent of their sins, or are judged at the white throne judgment seat. Revelation 20:11-15

The humble grows in grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. They fellowship around the cross with other believers.

They are at Church each time the doors are opened; singing and praising God.

The humble lives by every word of God, enjoying the time they have on earth.

The humble loves unconditionally; so they walk about doing God's business. The humble have ears to hear.

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."
