Daily Devotional for September 28

Galatians 5:13 "For, brethren, you have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another."

The battle rages each day in a Christian's life. The battle is for his mind, for satan knows that if he can get the Christian to stray in their thinking, he can use his fiery darts to infect him.

As soon as a Christian starts to enter into the system of doubting caused by satan's fiery darts to the mind, that Christian will walk out of divine love and will enter back into the conditional fleshly thoughts on love.

The Christian that grows tired of serving in divine love ends up burned out. They leave the foot of the cross, only to stand at the feet of satan and all his lies. This process takes time to happen, so satan watches a Christian's countenance to see if they are growing tired of serving God with gladness. This is when he strikes his blows of doubt into the believer's mind, causing the believer to take on a negative spirit against serving God in love.

The result will be that the believer will withdraw from fellowshipping with the body of Christ. Then they enter into satan's blame game, which causes them to judge others. If this goes unchecked, that Christian will simply just disappear from fellowship, never to be heard from again.
